Sacramento, California, September 2, 2026 — Dealer Image Pro, a PBS Systems company, announced today that Photo Assistant™, its patented vehicle merchandising system, will now ship with iPhone Pro Max as its standard hardware, pairing the proven Photo Assistant workflow with advanced camera technology, faster uploads, and the latest V7x software experience.
With 24-megapixel image capture and improved dynamic range, Photo Assistant™ on iPhone captures greater detail while balancing highlights, shadows, and changing light conditions. The result is consistent, professional-quality vehicle imagery across the environments dealerships work in every day, from bright outdoor lots to indoor showrooms and covered inventory areas.
The performance gains extend beyond the camera. Faster upload speeds reduce the time between vehicle capture and online merchandising, while longer battery life supports extended shooting sessions with fewer interruptions throughout the day.

V7x includes smarter upload recovery, Cloud Archive, VIN Tracker, Training Mode, real-time capture progress, improved window sticker workflows, and Smudge Alert technology, which can flag a potential lens issue during capture.
Recent V7x releases have also expanded upload recovery and system monitoring while improving capture controls, training tools, and workflow stability, supporting consistent performance throughout day-to-day dealership use.
