Dealerships and dealer groups often send inventory photos to multiple destinations. The challenge is that not every platform displays vehicle photos the same way. One partner may require a 4:3 image ratio, while another is optimized for 3:2 imagery.
Until now, stores were limited to a single export ratio. That meant one vendor’s requirements could impact every destination receiving inventory photos.
Multi-Ratio Export changes that.
With this update, Autoport® can deliver different image ratios to different destinations at the same time. A store can send a 4:3 feed where it’s required while continuing to deliver 3:2 images everywhere else.
For example, a dealership can send a 4:3 image feed to ACV Max while simultaneously delivering a 3:2 feed to vAuto and other merchandising platforms. Each destination receives the format that best fits its display requirements without affecting the rest of the dealership’s inventory distribution.
Why It Matters
Greater Flexibility Across Vendors
Dealerships no longer have to choose a single image format for every partner. Each destination can receive the ratio that works best for its platform.
A More Consistent Online Presence
Dealer groups can maintain a preferred image presentation across their websites and merchandising channels while still supporting vendor-specific requirements.
Better Control Over Inventory Distribution
Photo capture remains the same, but dealerships gain more control over how inventory is delivered and displayed after publication.
Built for Dealer Groups
Multi-Ratio Export is especially valuable for dealer groups managing inventory across multiple platforms, vendors, and websites. Individual partner requirements can be supported without creating compromises elsewhere in the distribution process.
The result is a cleaner workflow, greater flexibility, and a more consistent shopping experience wherever customers encounter your inventory online.
